She dreamed of becoming a doctor, but was placed in Economics instead. She was not very keen on marriage, until a bus ride to Abuja changed that. She never wanted to teach, yet teaching became a major door to everything else that followed.
In this honest and moving memoir, Enobong Mbobo tells the story of a life redirected again and again by the unseen hand of God. She writes of the loss of her firstborn son, Joel, at two years and ten months old, and of the years of study that nearly broke her. She tells of a career move that cost her dearly, and of a cancer diagnosis that arrived in the middle of a nationwide lockdown. Then, when every door seemed shut, came an appointment she never applied for.
Warm, candid and full of faith, this is a testimony for anyone who has wondered where God is in the waiting.
“Thus far, the Lord has helped me.I am a woman thoroughly helped by God.
